Windows 10: Connecting User Account to Microsoft Account

Hello,

I have done the upgrade for a few family members, connecting the accounts too with no issues at all, however, in one particular case, I ran into issues.

The process started as it should do, and the window says it was currently doing the changes.... then the system froze. I am not exactly sure why it froze but it got left for 10 minutes and it didn't recover, so the system was hard-reset. Luckily everything seemed fine on the restart.

So I try to do the process again, the little window goes up, does the spinny to connect then it just quits/terminates without any warning. In short, it connects then the process simply self-terminates.

I am presuming due to the partial alteration which was aborted, this is now throwing up errors which prevents the system from being able to merge the accounts.

Any ideas how to get around this?

How to separate the volume of speaker and headphone phone volume. I am using Realtek High Definition Audio. My headphone is not in the sound list.

I mean that I want to make the volume of the speaker to zero but when I plug in my headphone and I want it to be 10.

 

In classic style, after a couple of days, I hear a random shout "What is this thing?", I go to the computer and it was asking for microsoft account sign in, then it decided to do the merger without issue.
