Windows 10: Connection broker high availability

I am trying to set up a connection broker of high availability. I know we can set it up using SQL database. 1 Do we have any alternative ways to set up connection broker high availability without the SQL database, by having a batch process that can copy the database of Connection broker 1 to connection broker 2. And whereever connection broker 2 is required , we can use it as a active passive set up using windows failover cluster.What are the disadvantages of this set up.2 Is there any other database we can use instead of SQL database.

Issues with Remote Desktop Connection Broker High Availability on Windows Server 2016

Hi all,

I'm having troubles configuring RD Connection Broker High Availability on Windows Server 2016.

The initial setup on the first Connection Broker worked well, using a shared database server configuration.

However, if I'm now trying to add the second Connection, I receive the error message down below. When setting up an ODBC data source on the affected Connection Broker server, using the very same settings from the Connection String I used in the HA-Setup, the connection to the SQL Server and database works just fine, so it's neither a connectivity/firewall issue, nor authorization issue.

Any I idea what I might missing?

Runtime Broker Parameters

Hi,

Thank you for using Windows 10.

I would like to inform you that Runtime Broker is a Windows process in Task Manager that helps manage permissions on your PC for apps from Windows Store. It should only use a few megabytes of memory, but in some cases, a faulty app might cause Runtime Broker to
use up to a gigabyte of RAM or more.

If your RAM use is high and your PC is running slowly, an app may be the cause of the problem. If it’s using more than 15% of your memory, you probably have an issue with an app on your PC. To stop Runtime Broker from using so much memory, select
Runtime Broker in the list, select End task to close Runtime Broker, and then restart your computer.

• Let us know which all apps are open at the moment when you see the memory high.

I would suggest you to run the System maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the steps:

a: Press the
Windows key and click on Settings.

b: Type Troubleshooting
and select troubleshooting.

c. Click View all on the left pane of the screen.

d: Click on
System maintenance.

e: Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

You may also try setting the priority of the service as low and check. Here is the steps:

• Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC
  or Right click on task bar and select Task manager.
• Go to Details tab.
• Locate Runtimebroker.exe and right click on that, click on
  Set priority, choose low from the drop down menu.
• Click on Change priority.

To make sure your system is not affected, you may also run Windows Defender and check.

If your RAM use is high and your PC is running slowly, an app may be the cause of the problem. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager and then, on the Processes tab, check to see how much memory Runtime Broker is using. If it’s using more than 15% of your
memory, you probably have an issue with an app on your PC. To stop Runtime Broker from using so much memory, select Runtime Broker in the list, select End task to close Runtime Broker, and then restart your computer.

If still the issue persist suggest OP to run in-built system maintainace troubleshooter and check-- give appro steps;

1) go to control panel.

2)Select Troubleshooting

3)On left pane, select View all.

4)Select system maintaince and run the troubleshooter .
