    Connection Error 8,001 while playing Dead By Daylight


    After almost every match in Dead By Daylight, I get a connection error Error code 8,001 forcing me to force close the game because I can not interact with anything. This occurs when I play killer and survivor solo or with my friends. I have two instances that can occur that result in my friends being grayed out and it says they are "in a match". 1 When we are in a private lobby I get left behind when they get pulled into the match2 Post-match when I leave the end game screen to go back to the private lobby.     In the meantime, do you know any other location for the dump?

    Connection Error 8,001 while playing Dead By Daylight

    Dead by daylight blue screen loop

    A few days ago, I was playing Dead by Daylight windows 10 version. I was looking to purchase the artist pack in the windows store and as soon as i made the purchase my PC blue screened with the error system thread exception not handled. I have uninstalled the game from the Xbox app as well as the windows app screen. When I go to reinstall the game, my PC crashes in seconds with the same error in an endless error loop upon restart. I have tried doing multiple system restores as well as uninstalling my graphics drivers with no success at getting the game to install again. I am currently at a complete loss on what are the other steps to take to solve my issue.

    Ps. All my other games work perfectly fine and other gamepass titles update, install, and play normally.
