Windows 10: Connection issue using Microsoft Wireless Adapter

Hello Community, Do I need any additional hardware in order to use the Microsoft Wireless Adapter besides my laptop? Am I not able to download the app, press "windows button + K", select the wireless display Hisense Smart TV and connect? If that is the case, I can't connect. It says, "Something went wrong". Although when I tested connection with my android phone, I had no issues.

I understand your concern, however I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows Logo + X.
  
• 
  Go to Device Manager on your Surface Pro 3.
  
• 
  Go to Display Adapters.
  
• 
  Search for Intel (HD) graphics driver.
  
• 
  Uninstall this graphics driver and reboot your Surface Pro 3.
  

After reboot, an updated Intel (HD) graphics driver should be installed. And this driver might be capable to connect to Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter.

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. What is the model of the TV?
   

This issue can occur if there is pending firmware update or the issue with the drivers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and let us know about the results:
