Windows 10: Connection Issues After Updating Windows To 24H2.

Hello, I've been having major internet connection drops and issues after updating to the latest Windows 11 update, that being 24H2. My connection hasn't been stable since this. I know it's not an ISP issue, I know it's not a bandwidth problem, and I know my configurations are fine Ethernet wise. But each time I log into my PC, I get this notification and screen on a troubleshooter. It's so bad. I went from several hundreds of MB/s to less than 10MB/s on a good day. I don't know what's going on, but the last update absolutely did something to my system. I'm running an Intel 14900K on an

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile

It works, but I still need to fix it so that way I dont have to plug computers directly to the modem to get windows update to work. It was also blocking me from installing directx.

  winver in Windows search/Run command)

• What is the make and model of the PC?
