    Connection keeps dropping after windows 10 reinstall.


    I formatted all my drives and reinstalled windows the other day, ever since my connection on this pc only this pc keeps dropping randomly it happens alot. I've tried alot of fixes i've found online but non have helped so far, it feels like i've tried all but obviously that is not the case.Besides those complete connection losses i have extremely stable internet around 18-21ms in games and during the speed test.Note : I'm connected through an ethernet cable and don't have a wifi adapterI hope someone has experienced the same or has an answer for me, thank you very much in advance.I'm sorry

    [Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

    I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

    So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops! Connection keeps dropping after windows 10 reinstall. :oops:

    Internet Connection Keeps Dropping


    Hello, are you always connected to the same router - or are you skipping to others? Suggest disabling these settings:

    Also check your channel is not congested, and signal strength is adequate. There are freeware tools which can show you this information.

    You might have to change band (frequency) - and in one scenario where someone was renting a place it was suggested the owner was restricting Wifi bandwidth...!

    I'm sure others more experienced in these issues will comment.
