Windows 10: Connection Time Out when connecting to Windows 10 hotspot

Discus and support Connection Time Out when connecting to Windows 10 hotspot in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I am running a 5Gz Wifi hotspot from windows 10.     Connection Time Out when connecting to Windows 10 hotspot


    I am running a 5Gz Wifi hotspot from windows 10. All of my drivers are updated, and I can't seem to figure out why I cannot connect to the hotspot.

    All of my devices time out when connecting. It used to work flawlessly.

    cant connect to my hotspot


    my phone connects to the wife hotspot. win 10 desktops not. just checked that windows 7 desktop connects with my hotspot. To be clear. I turn hotspot with my laptop. my phone shows connection and it connects , windows 7 desktop shows connection and it connects, but windows 10 desktops does not show my laptop's hotspot connection at all. And it happened after i did windows update on my laptop...

    Unable to connect to the Windows 10 hotspot

    To assist your further, kindly answer these following questions:

    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you've done?
    • Have you checked you're internet connection?
    • Have you checked the settings of the devices that you're trying to connect with the mobile hotspot?
