Windows 10: Connection to printer

after last Windows update, documents sent to printer won't drop into the queue to print. Spent over 3 hours talking to printer techs at HP and problem not fixed. multipurpose Printer will scan and fax and can print from internet. But won't print documents sent from computer to printer. Can't seem to fix the problem. HP techs seem to believe there is a corruption in the last update. I'm a notary public and need to print documents in next 48 hrs for my job. Any help is needed ASAP and would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the suggestions on my initial post, in response to the original poster? If you haven't performed any troubleshooting yet, here are a couple of things you can try:

• Power off, and then power on your printer to restart it. Wait for a while for it to be fully ready.
• Check your printer connection. Check your printer and make sure that it’s connected to your PC network.

If the steps didn't help, you may go through this list of suggestions to fix printer connection in Windows 10.
