Windows 10: connection to thumb drive on raspberry pi that is connected to my network

Discus and support connection to thumb drive on raspberry pi that is connected to my network in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have installed a raspberry pi3B+ connected via Ethernet cable on my network and have since inserted a thumb drive to it.     I have installed a raspberry pi3B+ connected via Ethernet cable on my network and have since inserted a thumb drive to it. I am having difficulty knowing how to make that thumb and its contents available on my network. I need help step by step on how to get it recognized and engaged in my network

    Trouble seeing Raspberry Pi in Networks

    I have a Raspberry Pi that is running samba to share with the Windows network. In Run, I enter \\Raspi and it comes right up with the appropriate shares. That means the samba shares are actually there, yet when I open Networks, all my computers are there except the Raspi.

    To try to fix this:
    1. I rebooted both the Pi and my PC
    2. I double checked the samba configuration and checked it with testparm
    3. I made certain the samba and pi passwords are the same
    4. I found a list of PC services that need to be running and set them all to automatic

    Again, all my PC's and some devices like my Roku and printer are visible, just not the Pi.

    Suggestions?

    I can log into terminal with Putty

    but i cannot get Xming to even open when i double click or right click and select "Open"

    I have Windows 10 too btw.

    Good day

    I am trying to connect my raspberry pi 2 with windows 10 IOT to my laptop due to the fact that i do not have an external monitor.

    I tried using the raspbian tutorial on YouTube but it is all a dead end. Please i would be great full for any help or suggestion.
