Windows 10: Connectivity issues with both the Microsoft store and Windows update

Long story short, my device is connected to the internet, not a wifi, I'm using a wired connection, and a pretty fast and strong at that, but neither the windows store nor Windows update connect to the internet no matter what i do, note that it used to, but as of now i can no longer update my apps nor my computer, either gets in an infinite loop trying to load or gives me a connectivity error like the one shown belowhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1PHeO6Az4nDg8d_U_yVd8CuNEESeJuq77/view?usp=drivesdkOr a "something happened in our end" errorI already reseted my storeNothingCannot fix windows

Windows update issues

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile

 

Microsoft Store is not working

Do let us know the exact issue you are facing in accessing the Windows Store?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

App Store sign in issue Windows 10

As you are facing issues with logging-in to the Windows Store with Microsoft account, do let us know if you have logged-in to your computer using Microsoft account?

I suggest you to perform Windows Store reset and check if it helps.

Steps to clear the Store cache:

• Press the Windows + R keys on the keyboard.
• Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
• Reboot the computer and then check the issues with the Windows Store.
