Windows 10: Connectivity Issues with Specific Websites and Apps on Windows PC Since 2024

I've been encountering a issue with my Windows PC since the onset of 2024. Specifically, in my 5ghz Fritz!Box Wifi, I am unable to access certain websites, such as "speedtest.net" and "login.live.com", and some applications like Discord are also unable to connect to the internet. Prior to 2024, these problems did not exist. Issue connecting to websites after upgrade to Windows 10

  While you are trying to connect to Windows store do you received any error message/error code? If yes, please provide us the full error message/code.

I would suggest you reset the Windows app store and check if it helps.

Can't connect to one specific website

You concern with the website that you're unable to access can be due to incompatibility issues between the recent update that you've done and with your University website. Can you confirm if you're still experiencing this issue as of the moment? If so, we
apologize for the delay and for any inconvenience this has caused you. We also appreciate your patience regarding this matter.

Since this issue only started when you updated Windows, we suggest that you rollback to the previous version. to do this, you can restore from a system restore point. This will take your PC back to an earlier point in time, called a
system restore point. Restore points are generated when you install a new Windows update. Also, this won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made.

Follow the steps below on how to restore from a system restore point:

• Select the Start button, type control panel
  and then choose it from the list of results.
• Search Control Panel for Recovery.
• Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
• Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.

Once done, check if you're able to access your University website.
