    BSODs (different stopcodes)

    I keep getting bsods with diff stopcodes. I did a system file check but there were no problems, I did chkdsk and no problems either, and tried memtest86x and there were no errors.

    1. I am having a problem with updating my nvidia drivers, it really won’t let me even if i add my hardware lds to the nvaci.inf file.

    2. I have trouble in installing/updating every other driver I have that are corrupted/missing.

    3. I have updated my bios to 3602 so thats good.

    is there any way I can fix this corruption problem? Do I need to replace any hardware?

    Formatted and installed windows yesterday (I still get bsods even before doing so) So I don’t think its a third party software?

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Consistently getting BSOD with different stopcodes everytime :)

    BSOD on new Dell Laptop 4 to 6 times a day with different stopcodes

    Hello!
    Got a new dell laptop about 2 months ago. I started getting BSOD with all the various stopcodes every couple of hours about a month after getting it. I noticed that the optical drive was not working and shipped it back to Dell for replacement which they did very nicely. I figured the BSOD was related to the dead drive. But BSOD continued after the laptop was returned to be. So that bad drive could have just been a coincidence. I only used the drive once or twice before it had stopped worling so I cannot say if the bad drive and BSOD started at the same time.. Anyway, new drive and still receive BSOD. BSOD can occur when laptop is not in use or right while I am browsing. No consistent action seems to make it occur. Totally random. The laptop is on and functioning for probably 10 hours a day and I can get BSOD after 2 hours or 10 minutes after a previous BSOD. In other words, no consistency to it. This laptop is used 99% for browsing the web. Nothing heavy duty.. No gaming activity. Mainly on firefox browsing the web.
