Windows 10: Consolidation of Windows Accounts?

Hi all,this is something which annoys me since a long time. Somehow, I have two different Microsoft-accounts for one email-address. Every time I need to put in my passwords I have to try different combinations.I have a "School" and a "Corporate" account somehow. Why does Microsoft distinguish between those two categories why are there categories anyway??? and how can it be to have the same email-addresses to be both, "School" and "Corporate"?How can I consolidate my two accounts so that I only have a "Corporate" account?I of course do not want to loose access to my Windows really if you ask

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

 

Consolidating multiple MS accounts

Hi, I've seen that there was a conversation on here nearly 4 years ago about consolidating accounts or changing the accounts into a single account. The answer was at that time that it couldn't be done. Can you tell me whether you've managed to sort out
this problem and if so, how do I consolidate my accounts so that I only have 1 microsoft account (if that's what I choose) which can be used across all of my devices and apps?
