    I open the laptop and it starts beeping straight away, sounds like beep-beep, then a break then beep-beep again and so forth. Any ideas on resolving appreicated! Thanks

    Windows speaker beep sound, we would like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
    • Are you trying to disable system beep?

    Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. If it started when you hit the power button it can be a power-on self-test in BIOS however if the beeping doesn't stop. Try each suggestion below.

    1. Try performing a hardware diagnostic test in BIOS to identify what is causing the beeping.

    2. Also check if your keyboard is working properly. As some of the keys might be stuck that causes the constant beep.

    3. Try removing all external devices USB storage, controllers, and USB keyboards.
