Windows 10: Constant BSOD since new ASUS G14 GA401IV 2020

I have a 2020 Zephyrus G14 that's been trouble off and on since new. It shipped with windows 10, I'm running 11 on it now but the various OS resets and clean installs I've done haven't seemed to make a difference. The only driver issue I know I have is sometimes I'll try to open AMD Radeon software and it will say the driver is mismatched and it cant open. Asus G14 GA401IV - random BSODs for no particular reason

Hello guys.

I'm experiencing BSODs with my Asus Zephyrus G14 laptop (model GA401IV). These happen at random times, I can't really pinpoint to a specific app / game or scenario, really. I recently used Display Driver Uninstaller to get rid of any driver AMD related, then reinstalled every driver from the manufacturer's website. However... the BSODs did not really stop. I've gathered the dump files (along side the memory dump) for each BSOD and analyzed them with WinDbg Preview but can't really understand what seems to be the problem.

I'm using Windows 11 since three months ago or so, but these issues happened on Windows 10 as well. Some times they happen once every few days, other times... multiple times a day.

I check for updates on a daily basis, so I've got the latest of everything - Windows Update, Microsoft Store, Steam, you name it. Every app on my system is up to date, so we can rule that out. Same goes for my drivers - NVIDIA GeForce Experience and whatever AMD driver MyAsus app gave me. Don't really think it's a driver update issue since, as I said, this issue has been happening on Windows 10 as well.

If anything, these crashes seem more often now than they were in October for example (I got this laptop in March of last year).

I can upload the .dmp files if someone knowledgeable could, perhaps, take a deep dive maybe and try identify the root cause.

Random BSODs Asus G14

I have been having constant BSODs on my laptop (Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IU). Around 5-10 times a day. They seem somewhat random, but do come in chains, no BSODs for 2 hours, but then 3 when i try to boot back up from one.



Sypmtoms:

- Random Blackscreens

- Random Windows hangs

- BSODs at random times

- Application hangs

- Random restarts

- Random slowdowns (framerate gets very low and audio stutters)

There were also some symptoms which dont happen anymore

- Windows hanging, but mouse can still move

- BSODs but there is an imprinted image of what was on the screen prior



Fixes Tried
- Tested RAM

- Changed SSD (clean install of windows)
- Updated all drivers

- Pretty much everything that i could find online
