Windows 10: Constant BSODS After getting new parts.

So here is my story. I had an old PC with a first Gen i5 and some other parts and-... Well long story short I replaced my mobo, Processor and video card. Didnt get bluescreens till I replaced the parts. I did memcheck and the mem comes up clear, I checked both HDD's and they aren't the issue and the power supply isnt the issue either. So I was figuring one of my new parts is faulty. I kept crashing on windows 8.1 and I figured it was just a faulty copy of windows but regardless of what I install on my PC it still happens. When on desktop it doesn't really bsod as much. I can watch movies and stuff without it crashing It's crashed once or twice with twitch which struck me as odd but it always seems to crash when I'm gaming. The crashing is so random it's hard to pinpoint WHY exactly. Sometimes It'll crash right as I start a game and sometimes it'll crash like hours into it. I just installed Windows 10 and have all my drivers updated and yet I still get the same results.Attachment 13073

So My only guess is it's the Mobo, Graphics Card or Processor. The Crash happens no matter what the drivers or operating system is.

This does not help. I've been getting issues after a forced update on my pc today. Constant BSOD and FREEZING. I tried to do a FRESH INSTALL with the Media Creation Tool and I'm still getting CONSTANT BSOD DURING INSTALLATION.

BSOD issues and crap solutions

After constant crashes from myriad BSOD alerts, each one different than the last and no solutions that actually worked I decided to do a reinstall.

The laptop crashed during reinstall and I no longer have an operating system and no boot disk. I guess technically my BSOD issues have been solved!

Thanks for all the help! Now I just need to figure out how to get a new operating system.

 

No Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 3 or 4 (at a minimum). Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Don't worry about the specific number, it's just important that you have checked and installed any updates that were available (and didn't experience any errors).

You only have 1 memory dump in the uploaded reports, and only 1 BSOD shows up in the WER section of MSINFO32.
If you have recently reinstalled, this isn't a problem - but if you've had other problems since the last install, this may be a problem.
Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Have you run Furmark? I see that it's installed on the system.
Please try running Prime95: Prime95

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

Update your Intel Smart Connect drivers as yours date from 2012. The other drivers are from 2014/15 and as such, they will probably be OK.

Just as an aside, I once crammed a huge video card into a Dell desktop and had STOP 0x124 errors until I reseated the card.
This is a common problem with new builds - so you may want to recheck all connections in the system and carefully reseat them.

I switched out my GTX970 with my GTX650TI and that seems to be working so far. It's hard for me to tell because the BSODS are so random, so i'm thinking it may be a faulty card or it's just not fitting completely in the slot. But whenever I run a test on it or any of my parts they all come up in the clear.

(EDIT) Right after I posted this I was playing league of legends and crashed. So it's definitely not a video card issue.

(Edit #2) Ok so I did the event viewer thing and I grabbed my zip from the old win8 forums with my old logs from when I was using win 8.1 I've run all kinds of benchmarks on all my hardware and it all comes up clean, CPU, GPU, Memory, HDD's.

Win 8 stuff:

Out of 8 memory dumps there were 4 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case. Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

2 of the memory dumps had traces of usbxhci.sys in the stack traces. This may just be a coincidence, but it is a starting point for troubleshooting.

Win 10 stuff:

Since the problems continued after installing a new OS, this is most likely a hardware problem.
Start by removing all USB devices (if you use a USB keyboard and mouse, try another set) and the software associated with them.
Test to see if the BSOD's recur.

I'm running both of the memory dumps as it's easier to see patterns when they're run together.

Lot's of Smart Connect errors in the event viewer log. They're usually associated with Event ID 41 errors (Windows shut down, but it doesn't know why). Do you often have to shut down the system by turning the power off (rather than using the shutdown button in the start menu)?

The Smart Connect errors seem to persist, even after updating Smart Connect - is this correct? If so, we can stop looking at Smart Connect as a cause - and move on to more hardware troubleshooting.

There's also a recurrent print error (printing to an XML file) - are you aware of this?
If so, what is happening here when it errors on you?

I updated some drivers and surprisingly I haven't bsodded in two days when it used to be like an on the hour thing. I think it's fixed. Thanks so much. Now I just have to send the replacement parts back to amazon since I thought that was the issue.
