Windows 10: Constant BSODS for several months when playing games on steam

Recently started a WFH job & since then 04-07-25 I've had... I don't even know how many BSODs. I have several dump files from the last two weeks. I found something in event viewer pertaining to a copy of GameInputServices that was creating issues, had no BSODs for 5 days & now we're back. I've recently upgraded my RAM after having ~4 year old sticks. Steam games recent list does not update

The recently used program list for the Steam computer game client never updates. It says recent but it misses actual recent games that I've played and lists games that I haven't touched for months or years. How can I investigate the reason for this list not updating? It works just fine for other programs on the Start Menu. I tried searching for information but the word "update" in the search string returns results about Steam and Windows updates and not about the recent list updating.

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.

BSOD Playing steam games (Ark: Survival Evolved)

Hi,

I've been experiencing BSOD whenever I run games off steam. The main game I use is Ark: Survival Evolved. I played games like Overwatch through the battlenet launcher for over 2 months with no issues but the day I downloaded steam and Ark I've had four crashes, 3 playing Ark and 1 playing Overwatch (Now steam and Ark have been downloaded it seems the crashes occur while playing any game).

The error message I get 90% of the time is this:

Today I also got this message on one of the crashes:

I've sent the PC back three times to the website I bought it trying to describe the issues but they have just wiped the PC and returned it, only for the same issue to happen when I try certain games. I have tried updating all drivers and this doesn't seem to have any effect.

Any help really would be appreciated, I'm not hugely tech savy but anything else I can do to help you in your troubleshooting I will.
