Constant BSODs, usually after having a game running for a few minutes.

I don't play a huge variety of games, mainly only Rainbow Six Siege and Minecraft, but after a few minutes of having either up and running, my laptop sometimes gives me the BSOD. In the past few months up to past year I have been having this issue and would let my laptop restart and I would relaunch the game and no further problems. However, the past few weeks have been worse, as almost 100% of the time my laptop would BSOD after a few minutes of the game launching. Then once my laptop restarts, it shows the BIOS interface. I normally Save and Exit, usually taking me to the login screen, but

KernelBase.dll is broken constant BSOD's constant game crashing.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.

You may also check this link

    Constant BSOD While Gaming

I have gotten the following BSOD's pretty consistently lately.

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (dxgmms2.sys)

I have been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider using mostly the settings suggested by GeForce Experience except for a few added settings like hair etc. When I can play, everything runs perfectly fine, no artifacts and nice smooth frame rates. The crashes usually occur after about 15-20 minutes of gameplay, but once I get a crash and try to load the game back up again, I usually only get a few minutes.

I even recently got a crash playing Rocket League of all things.

I played through Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void without any issues.

Fallout 4 would crash every now and then, but was better after they released an SLI profile for the game.

I have the latest Nvidia Drivers as of today and they were installed after running DDU to clean out my old drivers and I installed the latest drivers clean. I am going to run a MemTest tonight and I will run an IntelBurnTest shortly to rule out those issues. I never have any issues except when gaming.

EDIT: I was reading through some other posts and saw that someone wasnt on the lastest windows 10 build. Turns out I wasnt either. I have since run system update and am now on the latest Windows 10 build.

I have been having BSOD frequently

    Hi James

Can you try the suggestion in step 2.

The games should still run with those items disabled and will allow you to check for a BSOD again.

    Thanks
