  1. Constant BSODs with a variety of error messages

    Hi everyone,

I built my computer a couple of months ago and everything was fine, however AMD released this Crimson software and after that everything went to garbage. My computer would start BSODing with a variety of errors.

    I've seen:

Attempted Write to Read Only Memory

    Pauge Fault in Nonpaged Area

    Critical Process Died

    System Service Exception

    IRQL Not less or Equal

So I wanted to re-install and reformat Windows 10.

I still get a System Thread Exception Not Handled, IRQL Not Less or Equal (this comes up when the login screen appears but I can't get past it), and System Service Exception error. I've re-seated my RAM. I've cleared the CMOS. I took my video card out and started to use integrated graphics. I'm at a total loss. Please help!

    Edit:
I updated the BIOS from the official MSI website. No good.
I also received an error which pointed to a specific file SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kfull.sys).

    :)

Repeated BSOD with a variety of errors

Yes those crashes happened after I disabled verifier. The thing is when I enable verifier, the pc crashes twice on startup and I'm taken straight to the repair screen where I have the option to continue onto windows, restart or troubleshoot.

This is the results of the query settings:

Again it may be time to start thinking about a re-install.

Constant BSODs with a variety of error messages

    Hi darkdragon88,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

I suggest to try a few bootable tests from Hardware Diagnostics

Let me know what the results of the tests are *Smile

  5. Thanks for the warm welcome!

I ran memtest86+ and received no errors after 3 passes.
I wasn't able to find an SSD diagnosis but I tried 2 different SSDs (Samsung 850 EVO and SanDisk Ultra II) and both give the BSODs.
I tried to run a variety of other tests but I didn't really know what they did (like supergrubdisk, or an antivirus AVG bootable virus search) but no errors came from it.
The only issue that appeared was from boot-repair which displayed: "BUG: soft lockup - CPU#6 stuck for 23s". This also appeared when I tried to install this Intel CPU diagnostic software called IPDT. Would having a CPU issue make sense for all these different BSODs?

About Memtest86+, you need to run it for at least straight 8 complete passes, less is not enough and thus not worth the time because it gives inconclusive results.

  7. Memtest86+ was run all night and day and received 13 passes and 0 errors.

I've asked Intel about the soft lockup issue I posted about before, they said it isn't a CPU issue and told me to update my BIOS and maybe disable Watchdog timer. My BIOS is updated, reset a few times, but I don't know what this Watchdog timer is or how to stop it.

The watchdog mechanism detects a system hang, or an application hang or crash, should they occur. The watchdog is a timer that is continually reset by a user application as long as the operating system and user application are running.

How to disable it you would need to contact Intel again.
According to my research, you would need to edit the registry, but it is better to follow the instructions of Intel. I'm sure Intel knows it with clear instructions.
