Windows 10: constant log in attempts, is my password compromised?

For many years my account has been under what i presume is a brute attack of some sort. Constantly every minute or more is a login attempt on my account, didnt really bother me but just now i got a notification on the authenticator asking me to press the right number to login. This was not me and since usually i only get that far AFTER ive typed my password im worried if this means my password is compromised. Please help.

Two-Step Verification Compromised

My Microsoft account is tied to Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center. Somone changed the password, which changed my password.

VLSC is removing my email from the account, but this is not a real solution. If 10 people have access to a VLSC account, everyone can be compromised.

Why no two-step verification for logging into a desktop or laptop?

 

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

The issue you are experiencing may have something to do with your profile or with the Windows components of your device. That being said, we will be performing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of this problem. To start, we suggest that you
change your password via https://account.microsoft.com/. Here's how:

• Log in your account via
  https://account.microsoft.com/.
• Go to the Security tab.
• Click on CHANGE PASSWORD.
• Change your password.
• Select Save.

Once done, log in your account to your device using the new password. Please post back with the result for further assistance.
