Windows 10: Constant Notification Sound

I had restarted my PC because a game I was playing had a memory leak. Upon logging back in to my desktop, Windows is constantly playing the notification sound, despite no new notifications appearing, and me having ALL of my notification settings turned off every single one, including Focus Assist and all apps.It is constant, as in every single second.I have tried running all audioand device troubleshooters, all reporting no issues, and have tried unplugging my USB devices, to no avail. I have disabled all connections such as Bluetooth and Location.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Constant notification sound on Windows 10?! D:

I have just fixed this, was driving me crazy for weeks after upgrading to Win10.

• I went to start typed in Sounds.
• Clicked onto Change system sounds
• In the sound scheme dropdown list the selected sound scheme was called "Windows default (modified)(modified)"
• I changed it back to the "Windows default" option, applied it and hey presto no constant notification noises

Life is good again.

Hope this helps anyone who is getting the same issues.

1. What is the make and model number of your computer?
   
2. Have you made any changes on your computer?
   

However, I suggest you to follow the below mentioned step:

1. Go to “Control panel”.
   
2. Select ‘Sound’.
   
3. Under sounds tab select ‘Program event’.
   
4. Under program event, select ‘Notification’.
   
5. Make sure you select ‘Notification’ sound for startup application and system notification.
