  1. Constant Random BSODs Since an Update on April 15th

On April 15th, I started to experience random BSODs, during which the memory dump was always interrupted by a second crash. In the 2 weeks that followed, I had 10 random BSODs, at which point I thought I'd isolated the problem to my second hard drive in my laptop. I had installed a sata m.2 boot drive 2 years and had transferred the contents of the hdd to my ssd, but neglected to remove any of the recovery partitions. Weirdly, the april 15th update seemed to have issues with the old recovery partitions. I deleted them and the BSODs subsided, until now. They're back again and this time they're finally creating memory dumps. Event viewer shows no issues before these crashes, so I'm not sure what's going on. Unfortunately, I'm not technically skilled enough to analyze the memory dump myself, so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone could identify why my laptop has started BSODing again.

    Any help would be welcome,

    Cheers

    :)

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.
A tiny documentation can be found here: Solved Random BSODs - Windows 10 Forums
In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

    Hi Darry,

User Profile corruption is one of the possible reasons why you are experiencing constant BSOD's on your computer. You mentioned that you ran the
System File Checker (SFC) tool, but is still getting a stop code. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you create a new User Profile and check if the issue persists.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
    • Select Family & other people.
    • Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
    • Name the user as Test.
    • Leave the password field blank.
    • Hit Next.
    • Sign in as Test user.
