the LPS-5 sounds like just what I need for my phone and hearing aids.



Can anyone tell me if it can also be used as a bluetooth device which could, for example, be an audio gateway to play music from my PC ?

 

NOKIA LPS-5 - Be careful

I would like to share with you my experience with Nokia LPS-5.

After waiting 12 months, I bought a NOKIA LPS-5, in order to replace the LPS-4 I'm using for a long time and very happy with it.

Opening the user guide, you can see in chapter 3. Basic use - Calls, that LPS-5 can "redial the number you last called" and "activate voice dialling".

Nothing new, because these two features are available with LPS-4.

I've been making a lot of tests, with diferent phones, until I came to the conclusion that LPS-5doesn't work as stated in the user guide.

After a long discussion with Nokia Customer Support, I've received an email from Nokia Care. I've been told that these two features were NOT
(and wil not) implemented. !!!!

But, Nokia and a lot of resellers around the world, are announcing these features.

Till now, no excuse, no apologise, no money back, nothing......

So, be careful if you buy a Nokia LPS-5.

You are right. PLS-5 does't vibrate on alarm and SMS.

Also, LPS-5 DOESN'Tmake voice dialling or redial the last number.

I've been told by Nokia, THREE months ago, that this info would be removed from Internet, after I came to the conclusion that
I HABE BEEN CHEATED when I bought a LPS-5 that was announced with those features, but never implemented.

As you can see, today, if someone google for "Nokia LPS-5 manual", will be cheated with the LPS-5 features available.

I'm sure there is many people around the world, beeing cheated, every day, about LPS-5 capabilities.
