  1. Constant webio.dll errors after latest Windows 10 upgrade

    Hi there,

For the last month or so, every 5-10 minutes I get a popup window telling me:

<<<application name>>> Bad Image : C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\webio.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020.

The application name varies each time. I scanned my Intel 64-bit Windows 10 home build 19041.685 PC and notice I have two copies of webio.dll, one seems to be for Intel and the other for AMD.

    C:\Windows\WinSxS\wow64_microsoft-windows-webio_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.546_none_45382b7071e346ee
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64
    size 459264 bytes on disk 286720 dates 15-oct-2020 8:30:50pm

    C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-webio_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.19041.546_none_3ae3811e3d8284f3
    C:\Windows\System32
    size 613376 bytes on disk 364544 dates 15-oct-2020 8:27:53pm

I wonder if some software upgrade somewhere put an AMD version of the DLL in the system32 folder instead of copying the Intel version. Does this seem right, and if so, how can I safely fix it to put the Intel version in system32 and will this fix everything?

    Regards

    Roger.

    :)

D3dx9_30.dll Not Found error in Ashes Cricket 2009

Important Note: Do not, under any circumstances, download the d3dx9_30.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." There are a number of different reasons that downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea.

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

Constant webio.dll errors after latest Windows 10 upgrade

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:
    • Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
    • Try different keyboard or mouse.
    • Restart computer, repeatedly.
    • Google for related issues.
    • Update Bios, because why not.
    • Create boot media and revert to windows 7.
The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.
