    Constant WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR new Windows Install. Random times


    I cannot isolate the issue. Im stuck between either the GPU or SSD as the PC worked prior with a different GPU and SSD. I only have the other SSD the GPU is sold.

    This has happened during gaming or just surfing the web. This has happened during OS install. I'm at a loss.

    Hi Jenny, does the flickering seem random or constant?

    If it is constant (has a pattern) then perform a Hard Shut down

    If it seems totally random - leave well enough alone . . .

    I am probably in a different time zone to you, how long has this message been on your screen?

    The suggestions which were made for remedy the constant restarting due to the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE-ERROR for Windows 10 do not work as a fix.

    Most recent with other SSD drive. I believe it is the GPU but could be wrong.

    OK I've swapped out everything for a 4770 and z87 motherboard and everthing works like a charm. If i run PRIME95 or any demanding application my x99 and ES CPU crash. I'm assumeing MB or CPU. Have CPU in route that is a retail item.
