Windows 10: Constantly recieving "Your single-use code" Emails.

Discus and support Constantly recieving "Your single-use code" Emails. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I keep recieving single use code emails everyday and its so annoying, i enabled 2FA thinking it might disable single use codes, But thats not how it...     I keep recieving single use code emails everyday and its so annoying, i enabled 2FA thinking it might disable single use codes, But thats not how it works i guess. In the last two days alone i got 10 single use emails and 53 failed attempts i mean this is so ridiculous i cant even put it into words i need a way to either stop these emails and or attempts, or just start the login process by requiring the password first thing when attempting to login, so that single use codes do not get sent with every fraudulent login attempt instead of spamming my mailbox with emails i did not request.I also w

    Hello Steve:



    Thank you for posting to the forum regarding your email question. I can certainly see how being required to enter your password every time you access your email would be a bit cumbersome.



    As you have mentioned a recent change to the email protocol being used, i would first suggest you remove and reenter the account on the phone. This article can be used as a guide to add the account,

    . I would suggest following the steps for adding an account manually. Once you have added the account back to the phone, please reboot the phone and try accessing your email again.



    If the issue continues, provide the following details:

    • What is the current OS version running on your phone, tap settings > about > more info.?
    • What type of email account is this, an Outlook Exchange, local Outlook, other email account (specify the domain)?
    • Who is your ISP?
    • When you go to settings > emails + accounts > do you see any error messages or codes next to the email account?

    hii microsoft community i have made a new microsoft account when i click on sign in and a popup box will appeared which displays my email id i click on that id then another dialog box will appear which ask me to enter a code and they said me that they have
    sent email to my id but i recieve no email i have tried 6-7 time but all time i get disappointed and didn't recieve any email please tell how can i recieve email also there is no internet connection peoblem please reply immediately

    i can recieve email but,when trying send i recieve error code ox80070426.

    I CAN RECIEVE EMAIL BUT,WHEN I TRY TO SEND AN EMAIL I RECIEVE AN ERROR CODE OX8000426.I HAVE SYN.MY OTHER GMAIL ACCOUNTS THRU GOOGLE TO MY LAPTOP (AN EXERCISE IN FRUSTRATION) AN

    I WAS INFORMED THE CONFIGURATION WAS ACCEPTED.ALSO I CANNOT RECIEVCE WINDOWS UPDATES.

    I WONDER IF THESE ISSUES ARE RELATED,ANY IDEAS?
