Windows 10: contact list to people app

New computer with win 10. Set up all my email accounts in windows mail. moved contact list to new computer. How do I connect my contact list into People app so I can use them in email accounta?

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar


Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

They're there because you configured the phone to do it. facebook doesn't magically configure itself.

Deleting facebook contacts is done in facebook.

To hide contacts from the people app, you can follow the suggestions listed in the above posts.

Kindly follow these steps to fix People app:

Try with few contacts or search and edit.

You can choose to only see contacts from certain accounts.

Select the Start button, then select People .

- Select Settings .

- Select Filter contact list.

- Use the check boxes to select the accounts whose contacts you want to see on your contact list. When you're finished, select Done.

To edit particular contact in People app:

- In the search box, enter the name of the contact whose info you want to edit.

- You'll see a list of contacts as you type. Select the one you want.

- Select Edit and make the changes you want.

- Select Save .

If people app freeze up and then shuts down

Reset People app.

The reset option is to be used only when the app fails to work properly. The app will be internally reinstalled and revert it to default settings.

Open Settings.

Click on System.

Click one Apps & features.

Select People app from the list and click the Advanced options link.

Click the Reset button.

Click the second Reset button to confirm that you're about to delete the apps data and start over.
