Windows 10: Container image Manager

Discus and support Container image Manager in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; i am using Windows 10 Insider Preview 17730.1000 (rs5_release) and when i go to control panel>uninstall programs>turn window features on and off>...     Container image Manager


    i am using Windows 10 Insider Preview 17730.1000 (rs5_release) and when i go to control panel>uninstall programs>turn window features on and off> Container image Manager is greyed out (meaning I cant install) and when highlight it says Container image Manager can not be installed. Virtualization support is disabled in the firmware.


    how do i install (if i can) if u can see i have everything else installed

    This will do it for you

    Step 1: Download this zip file (contains dmDskmgr-vd.mmc)

    dmDskmgr-vd.zip
    Step 2: Double click dmDskmgr-vd.zip to open the compressed folder
    Double click dmDskmgr-vd.mmc to launch the custom Disk Management console

    Press Alt+PrtScn to grab a snapshot of just the Disk Management window
    Open Paint and Ctrl+V to paste it, then save the image
    Attach the image to a new post.

    Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

    Hi,

    Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager.
    • Click on View and select
      Show Hidden Devices.
    • Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
    • If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
      Update Driver Software
    • Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.
    Please post back with the result for further assistance
