  1. Content adaptive Brightness

    So content adaptive brightness is enabled, and I want to disable it however when I go to Settings -> Display -> Brightness and Color the option to disable/enable Content adaptive Brightness is not showing up, I even tried using an administrator account and the setting still didn't appear even on the admin account. How do I fix this? Also can UAC settings play a role in this or not?

    :)

    Windows 10 Adaptive Brightness

    Hi Joseph

    I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this . . .

    Does the brightness on your screen change depending on whether the content on your screen is dark or bright, and not depending on the ambient light in your room?

    If so, this is not an Adaptive Brightness setting, most likely, this is caused by a setting on your graphics card driver

    Right click your Desktop, do you see a Control panel listed for your graphics card?

    Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Display Adapters section, what device(s) are listed there?

  3. Adaptive Brightness

    Hi, I'm Carlos Eduardo and I'm an independent Microsoft expert and I'm here to help you in the best possible way. Windows has an adaptable brightness, but it is necessary to activate it. Perform the following steps.

    Step 1. Access the Windows power settings. To do this, simultaneously press the '' Windows + R '' keys. In the window that will appear, type “powercfg.cpl” (without the quotes) and press '' Enter '';

    Step 2. In “Power Options”, tap on the item “Change plan settings” that is next to the plan currently in use;

    Step 3. In “Edit Plan Settings”, click on “Change advanced power settings”;

    Step 4. In the window that will be displayed, locate the item “Video” and click on the plus sign next to it. Below, do the same with the item “Enable adaptive brightness”;

    Step 5. To activate the adaptive brightness, just click on the arrow next to the items “On battery:” and “On socket:”, and change the option “Off” to “On”.

    Ready! Now, let Windows take care of the screen brightness for you.
