  1. Context Folders on the W11 taskbar like is in W10

Have MS developers got it together yet and added for all the longtime users of Windows, a Windows 10 taskbar option to W11? Specifically the ability to have context groups on the task bar folders of program links-icons which folders are added to the taskbar and are open on the taskbar. I have delayed upgrading for this reason. I cannot be productive without the power features of W10 taskbar. W11 seems made for smartphone users, not for professional IT power users. In W10 this is accomplished by going to Toolbars and "add a new toolbar" --> add a folder. Please MS - add an option for W11

    :)

  2. How to transfer W10 License to W11

I stupidly thought that if I was going to have a new PC, I might as well put W11 on it and, as I mentioned, having had problems which could not be solved with one PC when I upgraded from W7 to W10, I got afraid of having something similar happen when switching from W10 to W11, silly of me I guess, especially now that I find out that W11 is still half baked with (luckily until now) small problems that are more irritating than crimpling. I actually blew a couple of dollar on an additional 1TB SSD-M2 yesterday to do just what you suggest and I feel like a fool for buying W11.

  3. w10 start menu in w11

Is there any way that I can get start menu like w10 in w11 now? Not Start11 or StartAllBack, those apps only mess up things. It's been quite a while I run onto w11, but still, I am missing the start menu in w10 every day. Mainly because all my program folders are directly accessible, instead of an 'All program' button. I just want program folders shown to me directly but not must click a button. Come on MS, why always remove good things and bring bad habits back? At least give people a choice in Settings.

  4. Context Folders on the W11 taskbar like is in W10

How to make taskbar context menu appear near the selected button?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

To fix the issue where the taskbar context menu appears centered above all the taskbar buttons for the same app, instead of appearing near the selected button, you can try the following steps:

    1. Right-click on the taskbar and select "Taskbar settings" from the context menu.
    2. In the Taskbar settings window, scroll down to the "Taskbar behaviors" section.
    3. Look for the option called "Combine taskbar buttons" and set it to "Never" or "When taskbar is full". This will prevent the taskbar buttons from being grouped together.
    4. Close the Taskbar settings window.
After making these changes, when you right-click on a taskbar button, the context menu should appear near the selected button, instead of being centered above all the taskbar buttons for the same app.

    Best regards
