    Context menu--->"New" option causes Explorer.exe to refresh


    Hey all,

    When I right click on either the desktop or in a folder and place the mouse pointer over the option "New" it causes Explorer.exe to refresh. The same issue also occurs if I actually click on "New".

    Googled around to no avail. Rather Bizarre.

    Currently running Win10 Pro x64 all drivers updated and latest windows updates installed.

    Any suggestions to resolve the issue please?

    e75 - Q's about loading music

    There's an option to "Refresh Library" if you have added songs to your memory card. Not sure how helpful that will be though. Go to: Menu > Applications > Media > Music Player > Music Library... Click "Options" and select "Refresh Library"

    Download ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager For Windows

    Options - Check Hide All Microsoft extensions.

    Select the rest and disable all, then Options - restart explorer.

    If it works then, enable one by one and restart explorer after each.

    I followed your instructions and still having the same problem. Disabling all 18 items that showed after all Microsoft extensions were hidden did not resolve the issue.

    Any other suggestions please?

    Resolved the issue by performing an in-place upgrade. Preserved all apps and personal files. Thanks for the help.
