Windows 10: Context menu theme

Hello, I just installed the new Win11 2022H2 update, I then messed about with some config apps like startallback, winareo tweaker and TIW11, the context menus for all my applications started using light mode however I have normal windows context menu's using dark mode:however on apps like "run" and the context menu of task manager it uses right mode:On 3rd party apps, the context menus are in light modeI've tried rebooting, restarting explorer, ending explorer, rechanging dark mode to custom then darkmode for both option

Custom context menu entries

So, just throwing this out there, in case somone knows.

I have added a custom context menu entry for the program rightload, since by default the menu is broken in vistax64.

It works pefect with single files, but when I select mutiple files and try to open, I get mutiple instances of the program (which makes sense), here is my entry:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rightload\Rightload.exe --server=1 --autostart %1

So the %1 passes the filename to the program, and when I select multiple files it is just opening multiple instances of rightload each with a different file.

What I'd like to do is be able to pass a list of the files selected to the program. Since I know it is capable of uploading multiple files from the context menu, all in one instance.

So, is there something I can pass besides %1 that will do this? I have looked around and can't seem to find an answer anywhere... *Frown

 

Agitated with context menus

I am very displeased with the context menus in Windows 10 ever since Build 10240. There is no consistency among them. The one for the desktop looks different than the one for the taskbar. The desktop has a "light" themed context menu and the taskbar has
a "dark" themed one. All the context menus need to match.

I read that BS in the Insider Hub about why it is the way it is and it's so stupid. Here is an example, "Some Windows surfaces (e.g. file explorer) prefer light menus for a continuous experience while others opt for darker menus to maintain continuity."
They say that as if it's actually alive.

I have a small screen (1024x600) and when I right-click on the taskbar, the context menus are HUGE! When I right-click on the Start icon, I have to scroll down just to get to the "Shut down or sign out" option. They're supposed to make it simpler to use,
not add more steps.

This is really bothersome to me. It's like an itch that cannot be scratched, it annoys me to no end. Didn't even know I had OCD until I saw this disaster with the context menus. I wonder if anyone else is peeved at this?

 

Agitated with context menus

I ain't going to lie, as far as functionality, the context menus work. Well...I am having an issue with cut and paste. But as far as appearance is concerned, which I am concerned, it's ugly. I mostly have a problem with the dark themed context menus. I
guess it annoys me because I'm an artist. I suggested many different alternatives which I think would look much better, more professional and modern. But I get the feeling Microsoft is just shrugging off my suggestions. It's kind of like they're saying, "This
is how it's going to be. DEAL WITH IT!" I thought I was part of something special being an Insider and offering suggestions to how Windows should be, I guess not.
