Windows 10: Continued Trouble Installing Windows OS

I've recently assembled a PC with the following components I'm not sure if the errors I've encountered are due to the component incompatibility, but I'm listing them here as that might be the case:

With all of the components out of the way, these are the various problems I've encountered, described to the best of my ability. The first immediate error was the seemingly random encountering a blank blue screen after selecting the Windows 10 USB Drive as the primary Boot Option and attempting to reach the Windows 10 installation page. Sometimes, a "Windows Boot Manager" prompt would appear with the following message: "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause", even though I had not touched the hardware or software. There was only a slim chance of reaching the actual Windows Installation page, seemingly at random. But that was not the end of the errors. At the "where do you want to install Windows" page, I was greeted with the errors stating that "We couldn't create a new partition", and even when I got past that by entering commands via the command console, I was met with another popup saying that "the partitions on the disk selected for installation are not in the recommended order." I proceeded anyway. Finally, after all that, on all 7 different occasions where we reached that page, the endgame message was "Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation." Heeding this message, I reinstalled Windows 10 onto the USB and reformatted it FAT32, and went into BIOS to recheck if the version was updated. Sure enough, every component was detected by, and by extension, compatible with, the motherboard. Nothing helped. Please, I am not necessarily asking for a solution, just an explanation as to why these problems are continually and inconsistently occurring.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Hard drive/ OS issue

a guy suggested :

• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD
• restarted
• yay !!

Trouble Installing OS

That is why it won't work. It needs to find a previous version of Windows to upgrade. Without a previous version of Windows, it will refuse to install.

You need System Builder or Full retail in order to install on a machine without an OS.


I would try to return it or exchange it for the System Builder version.
