What is the exact error did you receive? You can also these steps:

• Right-click the Start button > Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt type the following and press Enter:
• reg.exe add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0" /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
• Restart the computer
