    Continuous loop - Blue Screen DPC Watchdog Violation


    I keep getting this endless loop of the laptop freezing, then showing the blue screen of "death" , then proceeds to restart.


    1. I read on some blogs that it could be the drivers so I updated all my drivers. That obviously didn't work.

    2. Used the DISM tool to check & repair - still didn't work

    3. Performed a system scan using the sfc /scannow - this didnt find any errors, so it didn't solve the problem


    Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It's driving me nuts.

    DPC Watchdog Violation

    I have an HP desktop that upgraded to windows 10. I continue to have the DPC Watchdog Violation blue screen. Any suggestions?

    PS I do not have a IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers on my device manager

    im using an asus x555L laptop and recently ive been getting multiple crashes where it suddenly freezes and continues to make a bussing sound until a blue screen shows with error code: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION. Are there any fixes to this problem?
