Windows 10: Control key and Windows key register as if they are being held when I play minecraft.

Whenever I play Minecraft, about like 20 minutes in, either my CTRL key or Windows key registers as being held down. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn’t and I have to restart my entire computer.I have used several keyboards, I have used several computers both Windows 10 and 11, I have used several Minecraft accounts, and the same thing still happens.I haven’t found any solution to this yet.I’ve reinstalled the drivers, deleted all keyboard data and let it redownload, and it has still happened. This is Minecraft Java edition, I haven’t played bedrock enough to see if it happens there

Before we proceed, please answer the following questions to help you better.

• Does this issue occur only while using the Microsoft Office Suite?
• What is the exact error message that you get?

Check if the Sticky Keys and Toggle keys are turned on. If yes, I suggest you to turn it off. To do so, follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + I and click on Ease of Access.
• Click on Keyboard tab.
• Turn off Sticky Keys and Toggle keys.
• Check if the issue persist.

Control key held down

Hi Azaruddin,

I again tagged a few items for batch processing, ie. held the Shift Key + Control Key to select a number of items, then I got the message Control Key appears to be held down and then it selected items at random, but I could not remove the selection. To be
honest, I did not make a note of the error message thinking that I would try again and use the Snipping Tool to capture the message. Typical Windows 10, I cannot now repeat the problem but cannot believe that it has gone away. In reply to your question as
to whether it only occurs while using the Microsoft Office Suite; mostly, but not always. Sometimes it has done when I have been in the pictures folder and wishing to move items to another folder. Bewildered !!

keys spamming while held down

My keyboard is typing same key twice when held down

also.. the special keys (alt,ctrl,win) spams when i try to hold it down for shortcuts.

and this is the scene for only my PC.. in my laptop, it works totally fine..

i tried most of the things..

like deleting the driver and restarting the PC.

reseting and clean installing of windows

adjusting control panel keyboard repeat speed and rate

and also.. i have prodot keyboard and they don't supply driver support

fed up with this issue..

PLEASE SUGGEST HELP
