Windows 10: Control Panel Changed it's Viewing Layout. No more list of "Programs & Features" etc......

I really hope that Greg Carmack - Windows MVP see's this question because some poor guy couldn't create ANY accounts in his Control Panel & it also stated, like in mine (which I'm an Administrator) Why is a standard account recommended - in blue text. Which when you tap or click on it brings you to a Microsoft page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hub/4338813/windows-help?os=windows-10 It says Windows Help at the left right & Update & activate is underlined. What those two things or anything on this webpage has to do with "Why is a standard account recommended" I have NO idea. In a question I was viewing about standard accounts, anyways before I finish my question, this poor guy asks: I can't change my MS account. I am the Administrator, have no administrative privelages, so I went to change my account & it said sort of locked out in grey, unable to change account but in a line next to it, it read why is a standard account recommended. Well Greg Carmack told this guy, it's NOT Microsofts fault for Any of this. Also it shouldn't say anything about a standard account. It's users faults for doing certain things for getting their OS contaminated. You need a Brand New Download of Windows 10 & keep it clean. Well Greg, if Windows 10 gets so contaminated, by so many users, so easily, shouldn't Microsoft do Something to keep there OS's safer & cleaner? Finishing my question to the community, why does it say "Why is a standard account recommended" since MS community & Bing & Google Can't answer that Question?

Windows 10 programs not listed in control panel

Your Windows Control Panel has no Programs and Features ? Or is there a Programs and Features, but Steam, etc. are not listed ?

Or are you calling the Start Menu > All Apps section the Control Panel ?

This is traditionally where all programs get uninstalled or repaired from,when an option is available. Many programs can still get uninstalled or repaired using a tool in the programs install folder.

- The main Control Panel window is only shortcuts to open those programs or Windows tools.

- With Win10 they are in the process of slowly migrating all Control Panel functions to Settings.

Installed programs are listed in... Settings > Apps > App and Features,

and this is where most people go when dealing with their software. I still prefer the more compact layout of Programs and Features though.

 

Programs Missing From Control Panel List

The "Control Panel uninstall list" is called Programs and Features. It only lists the programs you, the user, have installed personally.
The apps that come with Windows 10 are not included in Programs and Features.
Some of those apps can be uninstalled by right clicking at them > click Uninstall.
Some you cannot uninstall without special way. If you have some of those, please post back with the names.
And then there are some you just can NOT uninstall.
