    Control Panel\System and Security\Security and Maintenance -->Drive Status


    Drive Status said a drive needed to be scanned, but didn't list which drive.

    After clicking scan now, it now says "Scanning Drive"

    Is there a way/place to find out which drive it's scanning, as it's not mentioned before, during, or after the scan, and i'd love to know which is causing issues.

    No windows update status shows on Windows10 security and Maintenance

    Windows10 Control Panel >System and Security > security and Maintenance doesn't show window update status (on or off). I tried Change Security And Maintenance Settings and found out that both Windows Update and Windows Activation check boxes are in grey.
    I did select windows update automatic installation on settings. Can someone tell me whether windows update is working or not. Thanks.

    Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Security and Maintenance: Check for solutions to problem reports is off - cant turn on!

    Hi!

    I have few unsolved problems in my Windows 10 laptop. Trying to help Microsoft to find solutions I opened Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Security and Maintenance - Maintenance.

    Here I noticed that "Check for solutions to problems reports" is "Off". I found no way to turn it on.

    The best I could do was to open the window "Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Security and Maintenance > Problem Reporting Setting", but here the line "Change report settings for all users" is gray and inactive ( option "Automatically check for solutions
    and send additional report data, if needed" - same status).

    Can I get a hint how to turn on "Check for solutions to problems reports" ?

    I suggest you to run system maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps:

    Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.
    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on
      troubleshooting.
    • Then click on system and security.
    • Select system maintenance
    • Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter
