  1. Control Panel System image backup keeps on failing

I didnt wanna download softwares to backup my files since most of them are always behind a paywall so i used System Image in the control panel, only one problem though, it keeps failing, it says:"There was a failure in preparing the backup image of one of the volumes in the backup set. 0x807800C5 "Additional Information:"The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. 0x80070570"Is there any ways i can fix this problem or fix the file/directory that is corrupted? thanks.

  2. System Image Backup Fails In Windows 10 - Why?

I recently experienced a crash, so after wiping the partition and re-installing Windows 10, I thought I should start scheduling system image backups (using the Back up and Restore (Windows 7) control panel).

I've configured it to save the backups to another partition on the same device.

Whenever backup is started (manually, or scheduled), the backup fails, and the following errors can be found in the events log (as separate events):

    Event/Error 1:

The backup was not successful. The error is: The specified backup storage location has the shadow copy storage on another volume. (0x80780038).

    Event/Error 2:

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort2.

    Event/Error 3:

Cryptographic Services failed while processing the OnIdentity() call in the System Writer Object.

    Details:

AddLegacyDriverFiles: Unable to back up image of binary Microsoft Link-Layer Discovery Protocol.

    System Error:

    Access is denied.

    .

While the error messages may not appear to be related, all of them appear any time the backup process is run, so it seems clear that they are all triggered by the backup process.

Has anybody ever seen this before or understand how to resolve it?
