Control Planel : When clicked Credentials manager error not able to save file in this location. And one drive sign in error.

When, oh when, will Microsoft correct the credentials manager error?

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As a workaround I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it
helps.

• 
  Open the Edge browse
  
• 
  Click on (…) More actions in the upper right corner of the browse
  
• 
  Click on "Settings
  
• 
  scroll to the bottom to "Advanced Settings”
  
• 
  click on "View advanced settings"
  
• 
  scroll down to "Privacy and services"
  
• 
  click on "Manage my saved passwords"
  

This shows the websites you have saved passwords for. They are listed in random order if you click on an entry it will display:

• 
  The URL
  
• 
  The Username
  

Select one of the entries and change one of the passwords, click on Save to Credential Manager and see all of your saved "Web Credentials”.

Also clear the Edge and Internet Explorer data caches (but not the password cache) and

Re-boot your PC before performing this fix.

Greetings, an unusual problem...

When accessing credential manager from Control Panel, I receive this error. However this is not related to site credentials.

The credential manager service is running, system file checker finds no issues, and site credentials are saved when prompted.

Why can't I open the program?

 

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
