Windows 10: Controlled folder access requires turning on Real-time protection.

Windows gives that erro when trying to turn on Ransomwere protection.Real time protection is onI have tryed runing SFC DISM and CHKDSKI have done a in place upgrade reset of windowsI have ran many virus scans and examend all proceseses on my pc and looked at all conections my pc is making using wireshark. I dont think i have a virus

I have real time protection on but controled acses folder says "Controlled folder access requires turning on Real-time protection." i have tryed reseting windows Security using "Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.Windows.SecHealthUI* | Reset-AppxPackage" runing sfc /scannow and runing dism

I am trying to turn on Controlled folder access but it says "Controlled folder access requires turning on Real-time protection" I already have real time protection turned on. I have already tried ruining SFC and DISM along with resetting windows security.

Hi,

I am using Kaspersky internet security. I tried to enable controlled folder access but for that to work i need to enable real time protection by windows defender.

Is there a way to enable controlled folder access and use Kaspersky internet security at the same.

PS - i have already had moba ransomware attack and lost all data, hence extremely worried!
