Windows 10: Convert current windows user into domain account

Good day,I am facing an issue with a softwarre called idaPDA when connecting to server. I want to use my laptop as the server However, the error i am getting is this So, how can I change my current windows user to a domain account ??Thank you.

To assist you better, I would like to know are you logged-in using Microsoft account?

Let’s try simple steps and check if that helps in resolving the issue. I would suggest to convert the current user account to the local user account.

• 
  Go to settings and click on Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Your email and accounts and click on
  Sign-in with a local account instead.
  
• 
  Enter the password, click on Next
  and follow the onscreen instruction to convert into local account.
  

Once you are done converting to local user account, convert your local user account to Microsoft account. Follow the above steps skip step 3 and click on
Your email and accounts and click on Sign-in with a Microsoft account instead. Enter the
password, click on Next and follow the onscreen instruction to convert into Microsoft account.

How to convert Microsoft user account to Local user account on Windows 10?

Please reply to a few questions for understanding the issue better:

• Do you want to login into the user account as a Local user?
• Are you currently logging in using a Microsoft account?

Logging in using a Microsoft account with administrator privileges will let you access all of the Windows delightful features like
Cortana (your new personal assistant), Spotlight feature, download apps and games from
Windows Store and many more on your PC.



To login as a Local user account on the computer, convert the
Microsoft user account by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo + I keys on the keyboard to open
  Settings window
• Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts, click on
  sign in with a local account instead option.
• Enter your old Microsoft account's password and click on Next.
• Type in Password, and Password Hint that you want set for your local account and click
  Next. Click on Sign out and Finish button.
• Login to check if the changes are effective.

How to unlink the account from the current user account on Windows 10?

If you have linked the current user account to Microsoft account, you can convert the same account to
Local user account. However, keeping at least one Microsoft account with administrative privileges on the PC will let you enjoy all the
Windows delightful features like Cortana (your new personal assistant),
Spotlight feature, download apps and games from Windows Store and many more.



To convert the current Microsoft user account to
Local user account follow the steps below:

• 
  Sign in into your
  Microsoft user account on Windows 10.
  
• 
  Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type
  Settings and select the top most search result.
  
• 
  Click Accounts and under Your emails and accounts
  click on sign in with a local account instead option.
  
• 
  Enter your Microsoft account's password and click on Next.
