    convert vpb file to something that can be opened in photos legacy


    Editing a 30 min video in old video editor app. Suddnely the VPB file i was working on wont open with any app. the old video editor is gone, tried uninstalling updatesany way to convert it or complain to someone at microsoft

    troubled by vpb

    I am a tech-novice.

    I have created a video project using Microsoft Video Editor. When I "finish" the video, it saves as a vpb file, which is inaccessible to those who I need to show it to. How can I save it as an MP4 file, or convert the vpb to MP4.

    Hi,

    Please try to follow this.

    Open Photos App >> Go to Video Projects >> click the 3 dots beside the "New Video Project" >> click import backup >> browse and select the .vpb file. then click open.

I thought maybe uninstalling and re-installing would help, but after uninstalling and going to the Microsoft Store, I could not find Photos Legacy there. What gives?
