SES files were originally used by Syntrillium Software's Cool Edit Pro, which was acquired by Adobe in May, 2003. Adobe rebranded the software as Adobe Audition and released the first version of Adobe Audition later that year.

NOTE: Adobe discontinued support for SES files in Adobe Audition CS5.5. However, you can still convert SES files to the newer XML-based
.SESX format using Ses2Sesx

Cool edit pro files

Is there anything I can do to get Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (.ses) files to play on Windows Media Player or convert to a more easily uploadable format?

 

Cool Edit Pro Record Malfunction

My computer just updated Windows 10, now when I boot up Cool Edit Pro, it will not record or play a file, how do I fix it? I can open & close files but I cannot record or play anything.
