Windows 10: Cool Edit Pro Record Malfunction

My computer just updated Windows 10, now when I boot up Cool Edit Pro, it will not record or play a file, how do I fix it? I can open & close files but I cannot record or play anything.

Edit the Steps recorder document

How can I edit the Steps recorded by the Steps recorder application? Once I finish recording the necessary steps, there are few steps I'd like to delete and few comments that I'd like to edit.

So if I open the saved file in word document and edit it there I need it to,

• automatically update the number of the proceeding steps when I delete one in between.
• Retain the size of the images and overall page size in the MHTML document. (I've noticed that if I make a single change, the size of image increase more than the screen size and the MHTML document isn't responsive.)

 

Cool edit pro files

Is there anything I can do to get Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (.ses) files to play on Windows Media Player or convert to a more easily uploadable format?

Have you always had this issue, or has the issue just recently occurred?

I ask because Cool Edit Pro is over 20 years old, which will cause a lot of compatibility issues on Windows 10. Cool Edit Pro 2.0 may not be compatible with your sound hardware or the drivers Windows 10 has installed for audio, which may be why it's not detecting
it properly.

Does Cool Edit have issues launching at all?
