    Copilot key has Menu, too.

Sounds like this applies to machines with a Copilot key like this To bring up the traditional menu function instead of activating Copilot, you can use the following specific physical actions:Short Press Tap: A quick, light press of the key will trigger the traditional menu function. This action is similar to how you would use the old menu key. 2. Long Press Hold: If you hold down the key for a slightly longer duration usually a few seconds, it will activate the Copilot feature. This extended press distinguishes it from the short tap for the menu function.Ch

  2. Copilot randomly got removed from taskbar options.

    Hello,

I can understand how frustrating it is when an essential feature like copilot disappears unexpectedly.

Here are few steps to fix this issue.

    1. Open Settings.

      Click on Personalization.

In Taskbar, check if the Copilot toggle is off. If so, turn it on.
    2. If Group Policy Editor isn’t working, try these steps:
      • Press Win + R, and enter gpedit.msc.
      • Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
      • Look for any policies related to Copilot and ensure they’re not disabled.
If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you.

    Have a great day!

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread to find out if Brink or the other tutorial participants can help you Enable or Disable Copilot - TenForumsTutorials Best of luck, Denis

How to disable copilot in Windows 11 23H2?

There is a solution to keep Copilot out of your eyesight, it does not permanently remove or uninstall Copilot from your Windows 11 environment. Microsoft is persistent and Copilot is inevitable, not to mention the latest computers are equipped with a dedicated Copilot Key in the keyboard. Hence, it is up to us to get used to this feature, and also the field of AI is exponentially increasing, so it is better to get used to it. However, the simple solution is to disable copilot via Taskbar as you mentioned that Policy Editor didn't help. The following are the steps.

    • Go to Windows Settings.
    • Click on Personalization.
    • Under Taskbar, you can find Copilot (preview)
    • Toggle the switch to Off.
    • In this way, Copilot can be kept out of sight.

I hope the same works for you.
