Copilot no longer working since a possible update

I have been using Copilot for a few weeks now on Windows 11 laptop at home with no issues. I had it setup to save my conversations and had selected the ChatGPT4 option. I could also select a balanced mode of response.Today I try to login to Copilot and it says I need to go to Copilot for Business. This is my personal email account, not my work email. I do have the Outlook app installed on my personal laptop and some times use it to check my work email but I get this message when I am logged in with my personal email. I did not make any changes and it lost all my history conversations, it no

None of the methods to disable Copilot work, can't even hide it

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread to find out if Brink or the other tutorial participants can help you Enable or Disable Copilot - TenForumsTutorials Best of luck, Denis

  3. Why isn’t copilot button working

I've tried everything you suggested but the Copilot button is still not responding. This issue started to occur after I installed the update Build 23601 and opened and closed the copilot pane a few times. (After installing the update Copilot is working but after using copilot a few times it stopped opening.) Also, there is no Copilot task in the task manager, just a "Microsoft Edge Copilot pane renderer." I closed that task, and after clicking on the Copilot button again, the task does not reappear.

Copilot randomly got removed from taskbar options.

    Hello,

I can understand how frustrating it is when an essential feature like copilot disappears unexpectedly.

Here are few steps to fix this issue.

    1. Open Settings.

      Click on Personalization.

In Taskbar, check if the Copilot toggle is off. If so, turn it on.
    2. If Group Policy Editor isn’t working, try these steps:
      • Press Win + R, and enter gpedit.msc.
      • Navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
      • Look for any policies related to Copilot and ensure they’re not disabled.
If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you.

    Have a great day!
