Windows 10: copy and paste a folder finished without compling file transfer, no crash or freeze though

I have moved thousands of files or folders by copy and paste without trouble. Until now. I was copying photos from iphone to a back up hard drive. 5GB was copied without trouple. The second time, the paste seems to complete but without transferring all files in the folder. I nailed down to one particular folder with has 718MB in 89 files. When the paste is done, the receiving side only gets a folder with mB in it. No warning and no crashing though. I rebooted and did it again, with the same results. Suggestions and advices are wellcome.TXZ

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

Transferring Files from HDD TO HDD

yeah I just copied one of my folders containing some of my docs to another drive. I can just copy and paste?

On another hand, I backed up the remainder of the files with Easy transfer and now I can't transfer back because it has to be to the drive with windows installed on the new computer. My new drive is a 64GB SSD *Frown
