Windows 10: Copy and Pasting Text from Notepad becomes one big block

When I copy text from Notepad and bring it into another software program, lines of text in Notepad become one huge block instead of retaining the line structure. How can I remedy this?Example:Notepad formatting:TextTextTextTextCopy and Pasted from Notepad into software:TextTextTextText

Please follow along with me:

1- Open Notepad.

Go to Start menu > Windows Accessories > Notepad

2- Type something in Notepad.

Just a few words is fine.

3- Press CTRL+A

That's a shortened way of saying press the CTRL button on your keyboard and the A button together. That selects the text you just typed.

4- Press CTRL+C

That copies the selected text.

5- Close Notepad. No need to save what you typed.

6- Open Notepad again - same way as in Step 1.

7- Press CTRL+V

That pastes what you previously copied in Step 4.

Do you see the text you typed in Step 2?

 

Restrict Copy/paste To text only

I can't help you with implementing your solution via RDP, however there are many ways to keep only the text. Here are a few:

• You can paste your content to Microsoft Word or to Wordpad, keeping only the text.
• You can use the web clippers in OneNote or Evernote, which will give you a considerable amount of control over the paste.
• You can paste to Notepad.

Hi

After having my Samsung Omnia 7 for a week (WHAT A SUPERB DEVICE TO BE SURE), I have been unable so far to, for instance, MARK, COPY text from anywhere on my device into an email or note. I can sometimes persuade it to mark a block of text but tapping
then holding produces no menu at all. This is utterly frustrating as I run a small business and have prepared text to reply to a variety of enquiries
