Windows 10: Copy command is not working

    Copy command is not working


    Year of 2021. Windows OS, a 36-year old operating system. Running the latest Windows 10 release with all the latest updates applied.

    Copy/Cut commands have stopped working. My wild guess, they just got tired.

    Commands don't work if I either press Ctrl+C/X or r-click > Copy/Cut.

    if I do Cut, it does remove the text or whatever it is I'm trying to Cut. But the cleared/reset many times previously clipboard remains empty like that 1500-year old water satchel, found in Sahara desert.

    Tried executing rdpclip, then killing it and launching it again.

    Sorry for all the sarcasm, but come on, issues with Copy/Paste?

    GPU-Z what command line parameter ?

    Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile Copy command is not working :)

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
